"John's skill and experience has helped me more than I could have ever imagined! Shiatsu relieves my stress and has opened my mind to understanding how my body works..." C.Grimshaw.

Shiatsu is just not massage, it is a melding of body, mind and spirit. It has allow me to find acceptance in all things by letting go of old outdated ideals and concepts, allowing the ki within me and the ki that is all around us to heal, nurture and lead me down my healing path.

John, thank you for teaching me, allowing me a safe harbour to return to during our shiatsu sessions. I have learn so much in a year, but that is just the beginning.

Arigato, my teacher, therapist and friend.

Shiatsu....What I can say except that it works! I have been receiving treatments on a monthly basis for over a year now. From my first treatment I received great results and so on after that. My reason for seeing John was for my back pain, lack of sleep ( because I would wake up every night at 2 am. ) and overall well being. I started feeling differences in my body, mood, and overall well being that things have changed and feel so much better. I always try to do my stretches and press on the points that John always recommends after each treatment.
I find that getting the 90 min session is better for me because I find that John is able to work more at my problem areas for longer , hence, having a better outcome for that session. I find that the longer the session, the better I feel and I also find that the results last longer. Its funny that my body tells me when its time to see John again, because I start to feel my back pain more.
I’m only 24 years old, and have tried many types of massages, ranging from Hot Stone to getting treatments from a Registered Massage Therapist. Since getting massages from an RMT meant me getting it somewhat covered by my benefits, I didn’t get the same results that I get with Shitasu. So I would rather pay to get results that my body needs to function.
On another note., John has been able to teach me more about my internal energy and how everything works, he doesn’t just say “ ok, lie down, where does it hurt?” He does a full consultation, keeps a record of it for future reference, and is always asking probing questions about how I feel. He then does his magic. Really able to pinpoint some problem areas that I didn’t even mention to him. It’s just wonderful to know that there is someone out there like John, who is truly passionate about his craft.

Thank you oh so very much John for all of the great treatments I have received from you this past year, and will continue to see you every month!
